Sony update download
Sony has released a mini software update for the PSP that signals the beginning of game downloads and improves its ability to work with a LocationFree box.Version 2.71 gives your multimedia friend the ability to download playable demos via Wi-Fi, with a taster of Locoroco – quite possibly the best PSP game yet – and the Sudoku title Kazou available now.It should be just the start of the gaming download service that Sony promised back in March, which will offer full versions of ‘popular Playstation titles from the past’.Although the previous software works with LocationFree, the new version clears up some teething problems by letting the video from your box be displayed properly on the 4.3in screen.Talking of LocationFree, we’ve heard rumours that Sony is about to drop the UK price from £350 – look out for an update soon.Meanwhile, you can download the new 2.71 software from here.
Slowly is the full potential of these awsome gadgets coming out.
